Obituary of Lloyd Chester Sandboe
Lloyd Sandboe, resident of Pearson Place in Hythe, AB, formerly of Valhalla Centre, AB, passed away on Sunday, May 28, 2023, at Pearson Place in Hythe, at the age of 91 years.
Lloyd will be sadly missed by his wife of 70 years Alvina; children: Marilyn (Eldon) Cassity, Terry Sandboe, Debbie (Rob Pitts) Sandboe and daughter in-law Trudy Sandboe; grandchildren: Edward (Norene) Gillespie, Derek Gillespie, Krystal Burke, Jeremy (Naomi) Sandboe, Cole (Amy) Sandboe, Bradley (Tasey) Sandboe, Michelle (Grant) Pellegrin, and Melanie (Riley) Johnson; great-grandchildren: Destiny, Skye, Asiah, Levi, Lucas, Easton, Jaxon, Willow, Madison, Dayton, Deklen, Reid, Zoey, Kaleb, Dawson, Rhys, and Avery; sister Doreen Robinson; sister in-law Yvonne Sandboe ;as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was predeceased by his parents, father, and mother in-law, 6 brothers, 1 sister, 6 sister in-laws, 3 brother in-laws, daughter and son-in-law Brenda and Murry Gillespie, son Barry Sandboe, grandson-in-law Jeff Burke, and granddaughter-in-law Melanie Gillespie.
The family would really like to thank all the staff and Home Care nurses at Pearson Place, and Pioneer Home in Hythe, for their care and compassion, they went above and beyond while caring for Lloyd.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, September 3, 2023, at 1:00 p.m., at the Hythe Legion. Light Lunch and refreshments to be served.
