Obituary of Margaret Anna Graw
Margaret Graw, resident of Hythe, AB, formerly of Manning, AB, passed away on Thursday, May 18, 2023, at the Hythe Continuing Care Center, at the age of 76 years.
Margaret was born October 14, 1946, in Grimshaw, AB to parents Ernest and Ida Graw. She grew up with ten brothers and four sisters. Most of her childhood was spent in Manning, where she graduated high school. She then went on to be a beautician for many years. In 2001, Margaret moved into the Hythe Pioneer Home. This is where she spent the next twenty-two years. She made so many new friends over the years.
She was friendly, easygoing, and adored by many. She will be greatly missed by the residents and staff of Hythe Pioneer Home. Margaret will live on forever in their hearts.
The staff and residents of Hythe Pioneer Home would just like to say “We are so very grateful to have spent the last twenty-two years with Margaret and being a part of her life, it was truly a pleasure. With all the love we can give until we all meet again.”
She will be sadly missed by her siblings: Bernard (Gloria), Henry (Margaret), Ronald, Larry (Leora), Gerald, Rick, Robert (Adis), Loreen, and Brenda; as well as all her friends at the Hythe Pioneer Home.
Margaret was predeceased by her parents Ernest and Ida, and siblings Dennis, Donald, Ken, Matilda, and Bernice.
A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, May 25, 2023, at Sacred Heart Cemetery (922039 HWY 35) in Manning, Alberta, at 1:00 pm.
Memorial Donations may be made to the Hythe and District Pioneer Home Foundation (Box 390 Hythe, AB T0H 2C0).
