Obituary of John Ozirenski
John Ozirenski, resident of Beaverlodge, AB, formerly of Clandonald, AB, passed away on Thursday, March 30, 2023, in Grande Prairie, AB, at the age of 85 years.
John was born November 27, 1937, in Clandonald. When he was 19, he went to St John’s, QB, where he began his career with The Royal Canadian Air Force. When he retired from the Royal Canadian Air Force he purchased a Bottle Depot in Hythe, AB and worked there for a few years.
He was a good, honest, hardworking, and peace-loving person. John was very interested in sports, he played golf, and pool. He won many trophies in curling and loved to hunt and fish.
John will be sadly missed by his brother Maurice (Leola) Masyk; sisters: Helen McPherson and Jean (Dave) Pratt; sister in-law Lillian Organ; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was predeceased by his mother Annie Masyk, brother Anthony Organ, and brother in- law Bill McPherson.
A Graveside Service will take place, Wednesday, April 5, 2023, at 4:00 pm at Beaverlodge Cemetery (Hwy 667 & Range Road 95, County of Grande Prairie, AB, T0H 0C0).
