Obituary of Diane Louisa Martin
Diane Louisa Martin, resident of Beaverlodge, AB, formerly of Berwyn, AB, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 20, 2023, in Beaverlodge, at the age of 57 years.
Diane was born on August 22, 1965, she was the second daughter of David and Margaret Persson. Diane was raised in Berwyn and pursued a nursing career, training at Misericordia Hospital. Diane enjoyed a long nursing career where she found gratification in helping others.
Diane was active in her children’s sports activities where she made numerous close friends. She was kind, generous, and loving, and enjoyed a good laugh.
Diane enjoyed shopping, pickleball, sports, lunch dates, gardening, and spending time with family and friends, especially her grandson Emmett.
She will be sadly missed by her husband Darryl Martin; children: Erik Martin (Sydney Hewitt), and Alyssa (Braiden) Lowen;
grandson Emmet Lowen; sisters Karen (Greg) Rowe, Erica (Darcy) Tunke; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Diane was predeceased by her parents David and Margaret (nee Lefsrud) Persson.
A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, February 3, 2023, at 1:00 pm, at Beaverlodge Alliance Church, (409 10 St., Beaverlodge, AB, T0H 0C0)
