Obituary of Bo Millan
Bodil “Bo” Nielson Millan, resident of Beaverlodge, AB, passed away on Friday, November 25, 2022, at the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital, at the age of 85 years.
Bodil was born on March 21, 1937, to parents Alma and Kaj Kvist. She was the third born of six children in Copenhagen, Denmark. She then immigrated to Winnipeg, MB in 1951, with her family. They then moved to Vancouver, BC in 1962, where she eventually met and married her first husband and raised two children. In 1978, she met her second husband and they moved to Alberta.
She loved playing cards, volunteering, and singing in the Hythe Choir.
She will be sadly missed by her good friend Ted Smith; daughter Diana Anthony and grandchildren: Cole Carson Clark, and Alex Anthony; as well as numerous other family members and friends.
A Memorial Service will take Saturday, May 27, 2023, at St. Luke's Anglican Church (314 10 St. Beaverlodge), at 2:00 pm.
