Harold Gordon Deets, resident of Hythe, AB, formerly of Davidson, SK, passed away July 14, 2022, in Hythe, AB, at the age of 96 years. Harold loved to attend auctions, dance, and play cards. One of Harold’s greatest joys was being surrounded by his beautiful grandchildren. Harold is survived by his son Gordon (Sandra) of Calgary, AB; daughter Karen (Dave) of Salmon Arm, BC, and daughter-in-law Paulette Deets of St. Albert, AB; grandchildren; Brad Deets (Phoebe), Michael Deets (Kara), Nancy Deets (Grant), Trisha Townsend (Shawn), Cathy Wadson (Tim), Barry Goertzen (Elise), and Tarla Todd (Jordon); great-grandchildren: Sloane and Claire Deets, Grace and Dylan Deets, Dawnia McCann, Emilie and Lily Townsend, Brayden and Tyler McDonald as well as Gracie Goertzen. Harold was predeceased by his wife Emily in 1986 and his son Vern in 1998. Harold had many friends over the years and will be missed.
