Kay Walker Obituary

Kathrine (Kay) Walker passed away on December 1, 2020 at the young age of 98 years. Kay was born November 16, 1922 in Cranbrook BC. She married Greg Walker and had 3 boys, Jerry, Ken and Brian. She was blessed with 7 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Kay was always the loudest fan cheering at the ballpark or skating rink, watching her husband or her three boys playing hockey or ball. She always enjoyed watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren playing the sports her husband and sons loved so much. Kay kept active in her senior years after her husband passed golfing, working in her yard, or winning big at the Casino. She enjoyed watching most sports on the TV, especially curling and making meals for her sons and their families. Kay was predeceased by her husband Greg, her son Ken, her brothers Harry, Paul, Steve Solecki. She will be dearly missed by her sons Jerry (Nancy), Brian (Gerry Lou), her daughter-in-law Bernice, her grandchildren Kim (Randy), Mark (Corrie), Michael (Chas), Leah (Pieter), Darren (Navi), Afton (Derek), Cole (Tiffany), all her great-grandchildren, and her brothers Bill and Mike. There will be a private memorial service for her family. Very Respectfully Beaverlodge Funeral Service
