Anetta 'Sam' Degenstien, a resident of Beaverlodge, Alberta passed away on Thursday, June 4, 2015 in Beaverlodge at the age of 65 years. Sam was born in Dawson Creek, British Columbia, she grew up in Edmonton and moved to Calgary where she worked, married, and lived until 2003. She then spent six years near Penticton, B.C., and moved to Beaverlodge in 2009. Sam was predeceased by her son Timothy in 2003. She is survived by her husband Roger, her son Jeremy, and her granddaughter Sophia. Sam's family would like to invite you to a Celebration of Sam's Life on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the Valhalla Lutheran Church. Pastor Ella Loberg will officiate.
