Ruth Sharkey, a lifelong resident of Hythe, Alberta and Area passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2015 in Beaverlodge, Alberta at the age of 79 years. Ruth was predeceased by her husband Jack, her infant son Robert, her parents Carl and Elin, and her siblings Swen Swanson, Carl Swanson, Ellen Bredeson, Lil Crawford, and Anna Berlinski. Ruth is survived by her son Lenard (Suzanne), and her daughter Linda, her grandchildren Ashley, Levi (Kelli), Brayden and Brett, great grandchildren Letti and Brodi and her sister Esther Einarson, along with numerous nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Ruth’s Life was held on Saturday, June 27, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the Hythe Legion. A private family interment followed in the Hythe Cemetery.
