Joyce Marian Gass, a long-time resident of Valhalla Centre, Alberta passed away on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at the age of 75 years. Joyce was a custodian of the Valhalla School for a number of years. She always enjoyed celebrating special occasions with the staff and students. She loved gardening and crafts and every Christmas friends and family would receive a Christmas Wreath or fresh pine boughs carefully decorated and made with love. She always looked forward to having family come and visit. Then she could have fun playing cards and games with the grandchildren. Joyce had a heart of gold and always had time for family and friends. She will be missed by all that loved her. Joyce was predeceased by her husband; Melvin, her parents; Caryl and Betty Jordon, brother; Allan, sister-in-law; Heather, niece; Darlene and great niece; Cassidy. Joyce is survived by her three sons; Rob (Barb), Don, Darrell (Deannie) and their families, along with numerous nieces, grandchildren and great grandchildren. No formal funeral service will be held.
