Florence Arcand, a resident of Beaverlodge, Alberta passed away peacefully with family by her side on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at the age of 80 years. A Prayer Service was held on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at 7:00 PM at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Beaverlodge, Alberta. A Funeral Mass was held on Thursday, January 15, 2015 at 1:00 PM at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Father Arul Arockiasamy officiated. Interment will be at a later date. Florence is survived by her children; Michael (Jane) Carriere, Charles Arcand, Jeannine Wood, Roger (Leona Hanson) Arcand, and Brian (Tina) Arcand, 17 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, her sisters; Simone Cockerill, Noella Porath, and Theresa Holtby, brothers; Fergie Carriere, Charles (Charlie) Carriere, and Guy Carriere, brothers-in-law Raymond Arcand and Clement Arcand and their families. Florence was predeceased by her husband John Arcand, her parents Arthur and Rose Carriere, her brothers; Albert Carriere, Ephrem Carriere, Marcel Carriere, Herve Carriere and Florian Carriere.
