Obituary of Maxine Kitty Brown

Maxine Brown, a long time resident of Beaverlodge, Alberta passed away with family by her side on Sunday, January 12, 2014 in Beaverlodge at the age of 78 years. Maxine was predeceased by; parents James and Bessie Willard, in-laws Warren and Daisy Brown, husband James Brown, sisters Kozey (Art) Ellingbone and Jean (Bill) Sask, brothers: Gerald (Doris) Willard, Merton (Vera) Willard and brothers-in-law: Maurice Descouteaux, Jack Cook and Murray Brown. Maxine is survived by; children Jeanne (Dwight) Smith and Warren (Dorothy) Brown, grandchildren: Clint (Kelly) Smith, Clark (Amanda) Smith, Dean Smith, Donny (Shenda) Smith, Jolene Brown (Barry Menard), Jordi Brown, Valerie (Kenton) Bekkema, and Coreena (Herb) Holmes, great grandchildren: Chelsea Smith, Cody Smith, Miranda Smith, Lane Smith, Wesson Smith, Paige Menard, Korbin Menard, Parker Brown, Aidan Brown, Kylie Bekkema, Brodie Bekkema and Drayden Brown, brothers/sisters: Bonnie Descouteaux, Gwen (Wally) Melnyk, Dale (Joan) Willard, Rhoda Cook, Bud (Deanna) Willard, and Karen (Emelian) Cyre, brothers/sisters-in-law: Gladys (Albert) Eggenberger, Eddie (Marion) Brown and Lynne Brown, along with numerous nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service was held on Thursday, January 16, 2014 at 2:00 PM at the Beaverlodge Alliance Church. Reverend Wayne Putman officiated. Interment will be at a later date. For friends so wishing, donations may be made in memory of Maxine to the West County Health Facility, Box 30 Beaverlodge, Alberta T0H 0C0 for the building of the new Beaverlodge Health Complex.
