Marjorie Pearl Milliken Obituary
Marjorie Milliken, a long time resident of the Peace Country passed away peacefully on Monday, February 17, 2014 in Grande Prairie, Alberta at the age of 93 years. Marjorie was predeceased by her parents Frank and Margaret Willsey of Huallen, husband Orvil Bue, brothers Dan (Anne), Melvin (Rosie), Raymond, John and Lloyd, sisters Frances (Roy) Rose, Viola (Al) Miller, Louise (Marvin) Vatne, brothers-in-law Frank Spence and Walter Thompson, in-laws Olaf and Linda Bue, Elmer and Vivian Bue, Leona and Fraser Grant, Raymond Bue and son-in-law George Glenn. Marjorie is survived by daughters Catherine (Andy Madsen) Nychka, Viola (Dennis) Gillespie, Evelyn Glenn, Mavis (Wilfred) Hanson, thirteen grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, and five great great grandchildren. Along with her brother Earl Willsey, sisters Ivy Wilson, Jean Spence, Ellen Thompson, sister-in-law Dorothy Willsey, and many nieces and nephews. Marjorie was a selfless, caring person always with a sense of humor and will be sadly missed. A Celebration of Marjorie’s Life was held on Saturday, May 10, 2014 at 1:00 PM at the Hythe Legion Branch 93 in Hythe, Alberta. Pastor Ella Loberg officiated. Interment will be at a later date. For friends so wishing, donations may be made in memory of Marjorie to the West County Health Complex, Box 30 Beaverlodge AB T0H0C0 for the building of the new Beaverlodge health complex.
