It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our father, Glen Fredrick Kraig. Glen, a longtime resident of Hythe, Alberta passed away on July 21, 2013 in Beaverlodge, Alberta at the age of 60 years after battling lung cancer. Glen was born in Kelvington, Saskatchewan on September 10, 1952 to parents Fred and Marion Kraig. Glen is predeceased by his parents Fred and Marion, and his sister Donna. Glen is lovingly remembered by; Carla Hiebert, daughters Kiera Kraig (Shawn Scott), Tyra Dolemo (Colton), grandchildren Oliver and Cynder, nephew Trevor Kraig (Anna), niece Jody Morris (Chris), great nieces and nephew Cheyanne, Hayley, Lillian and Wayde, sister Twyla Kowalko, along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and his children/family he 'adopted' along the way. A Celebration of Life was held on Saturday, July 27, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Lymburn Community Hall, Lymburn, Alberta. Western/Casual attire. Interment will be at a later date.
