It is with sad hearts that we announce the passing of Faye Irene Peters, a resident of Hythe, Alberta and former resident of Bear Canyon, Alberta. Faye passed away on Monday, April 20, 2020 at the Grande Prairie QEII Hospital, at the age of 57 years. Faye was born August 16, 1962 in Dawson Creek, BC to parents Archie and Beverly Patterson. Faye was a hard working woman with a heart of gold, a rancher’s wife and a wonderful mother that raised her two girls, plus many more. Once Faye’s children were grown, she worked at the Northern Lights Ranch for June and Don Pearson with the residents and also ran their cattle operation. Faye was an outgoing person that was always on the go from working/volunteering at rodeos, 4-H clubs and the Hythe Fair. Faye was predeceased by her grandparents, Walter and Jessie Johnson, and Ingles and Joanie Patterson, her parents Archie and Beverly Patterson, granddaughter Maddi-Lynn and her granddaughter’s (Chloe) father, Clark Horseman. Faye will be fondly remembered by her husband; Art Peters, daughters; Erin (daughter Chloe), Abby & Chance (children Nevaeh and Sawyer), best friend/sister; Shauna Adams (Larry, Chad & Tori), Uncle Keith & Aunt Chickie Johnson (Stacey, Heith, Dallas & Lassiter), Rudy & Lulu Ostrem (Travis), Mother in-law; Beverly Houle, Cindy Peters Hommy (Jacey & Rancher), Buck Peters (Ashley, Buck Jr. & Bliss), Skye Wolski (Harvey, Amanda, Bailey & Kale), Tim Patterson (Jaycee, Teague & Slater) and many other family members and friends. There will be a celebration of life for Faye at the Peters Ranch at a later date due to the COVID-19.
