It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Brenna Taks, who left us on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at the age of 16.

Brenna was born on January 9, 2009, and was a beloved daughter, granddaughter, great-granddaughter, niece, sister, and friend to many.

Brenna was a Grade 11 student at Beaverlodge Regional High School, where she was known for her quick wit, contagious laughter, and the way she could light up any room she entered. She had a free spirit and was never afraid to speak her mind.

Creative and full of imagination, Brenna dreamed of becoming a hairstylist and makeup artist after graduation. Her natural artistic talent shone through in everything she did. She loved butterflies, the colour purple, and tiger lilies — small reflections of her bright and beautiful personality.

She adored Halloween, had a soft spot for the TV show Supernatural, and shared a special, even if she wouldn’t always admit it, bond with her little brother. Above all, Brenna had the biggest heart. She was always the first to offer a hug and made sure her family and friends knew how deeply they were loved.

Brenna will be remembered for her kindness, humour, intelligence, and courage. She will be forever missed by her family, her friends, and all who were lucky enough to have known her.
