It is with great sadness and profound love that we announce the passing of Patricia Evanoff, on Sunday, June 8, 2025, in Beaverlodge, Alta., formerly of Abbotsford, B.C.

Pat was born December 13, 1942, in Vancouver, B.C. Her goal in life was to be a wife and mother, and her passion was to make a house a home. Five generations of family and countless friends were welcomed and entertained in her home with the sound of laughter, country music, homemade meals and baking, feisty commentary over card and board games, and always elaborately decorated with seasonal décor and flowers.

Pat never forgot a birthday, anniversary, or significant occasion, and her distinct handwritten sentiments were especially chosen for each individual. She had the insightful ability to remember what was unique about each of us, and her thoughtful gifts are now our treasures.

Pat loved the color palette of purple and pink, which was found in her love of anything feminine. She was fastidious in her matching of earrings, nails, lipstick, purse, and shoes, and comments that she looked like a “Movie Star” were common even into her youthful 82 years.  Pat was feminine and petite but had a colorful side to her personality when playing bingo or watching her favorite sports of baseball and hockey.

Married for 65 loving years, left to mourn is her devoted and loving husband Danny; her children Cindy and Dana Lockhart, and family, Debby and Mike Barker, and family, Collin and Edith Evanoff, and family, and Kevin Evanoff, and family; brother Bill and wife Jackie Clark, brother Bob and wife Norma Schneider and sister Barbara Corfe; as well as all the “apples of her eye”… from her family tree.

A Celebration of Life will be held on September 6, 2025, in Albright, Alta, with specific details forthcoming.
