Norman Clifford Isaac, a resident of Hythe, AB, and previously of Silver Valley, AB, passed away on March 19, 2025, at the age of 72 at the Beaverlodge Municipal Hospital.

Born on July 5, 1952, in Morris, Manitoba, he was the son of Simon and Susie Isaac. At the age of four, his family relocated to Crooked Creek, Alberta, where he attended school in Ridge Valley. Throughout his career, Norman worked primarily as a truck driver and equipment operator.

Norman was a passionate sports enthusiast; he particularly enjoyed hockey and football. He cherished playing sports, cards, and games with his children, family, and friends. He held a unique belief that ice cream should always be served in a cereal bowl.

In his semi-retirement, Norman found joy in socializing over coffee with his guy friends, playing cards at the Hythe Golden Age Centre, and volunteering at the Gospel Jamboree while driving his gator.

He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Agnes; daughters Melissa (Kelly), and Betsy; son Jeremy; and his grandchild Markis.

Norman was predeceased by his parents Simon and Susie Isaac, his brother Ed, sister Helen, sisters-in-law Sandy Isaac and Tina Lappenbush, father-in-law Jake Klassen, brothers-in-law George Klassen, Ben Guenther, and Bill Lappenbush.

A Viewing for Norman will be held on Friday, March 28, 2025, from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm at the Beaverlodge Alliance Church (409 10th St.) in Beaverlodge.  A Funeral Service for Norman will follow at 2:00 pm at the Beaverlodge Alliance Church, with interment to follow at the Riverview Cemetery.

Memorial Donations in Norman’s memory may be made to the Beaverlodge Hospital Foundation (Box 480, Beaverlodge, AB, T0H 0C0), or the Hythe Golden Age Centre (10112 100 St. Hythe, AB, T0H 2C0).
